There is no real such thing as fast weight loss. You actually have to do the work to lose weight by working out or some activity where you burn calories. There are many fun things you can do out there for instance have you ever played laser tag? Laser tag you go around a course shooting each other. The fun activity of trying to get your friends before they get you gets your mind off the exercise portion and before you know it your shirt is drenched in sweat because you been out on the course hustling. This one idea for you to kick in weight loss. Now I know the costs are a little high to do this everyday but this is a great activity to break up the boring workout routine. Plus if you happen to stop at a Fast Food Restaurant that day maybe this can burn off those extra calories you took in……. Weight loss can be fun and exciting…..
I don’t know about you but I don’t have time between my work, kids activities and other day to day chores to fix and measure meals or to do special fad diets. I usually have to eat on the run and on top of that it sometimes saves me money because I am being less wasteful. Don’t let all the hype fool you. You can lose weight eat out and not exercise for hours in the gym. I know because I have done it and I am over 40 years old and lost 20 pounds in fat plus put on 10 pounds of muscle in the process. On this weight loss blog I am going to explain how I exercise and eat to stay in shape.
I don’t have time as it is very stretched with other activities in my life. I understand when you say you don’t have time unlike these other fitness guru’s. I have to tell you watching The Biggest Loser on Tuesday nights is so motivational. It has helped me stay focused and I watch how hard they push themselves. That is the biggest thing to make gains you have to push yourself and The Biggest Loser Season 9 you can see this motivation in their eyes. I really suggest you get The Biggest Loser Season 9 and sit back and watch it.
Nothing motivates you more than watching someone lose double digits in weight in one week. I have to tell you its been awhile since I worked out. Starting over again makes my body feel so good but why did I fale in following and keeping up with the exercise. It seems time is short and valuable that I didn't schedule a workout time for myself. I cam up with every excuse under the sun.
I now have a specisfic workout time which is right after work that hopefully I can stick to easilly. The hardest part for me is planning the meals to make sure I have the right calorie count. I know if I could get this right and stay on track that my fitness goals would be meet. Measuring your fitness progress is very important to keep motivated. The only problem is most people use pounds to measure their progress when this is the worst measurement to use. Body Fat percentage is one of the better measurements. When working out your going to gain weight because your building muscle which is heavier than fat. The best way to measure your progress is body fat percentage.
Its that time of year again, but why not start today then waiting to the new year. Get started on a good exercise program like Power 90 by Tony Horton on Slim in 6 by Debbie Siebbers. Nothing like starting today if you haven't exercised in awhile you can start out slow then really kick it in gear when the New Year comes around.
